The Shelby Metropolitan Housing Authority is dedicated to serving low-income families by providing quality housing opportunities and promoting economic self-sufficiency. We will create and maintain partnerships with our clients and appropriate community agencies. The Shelby Metropolitan Housing Authority strives to provide a courteous and respectful atmosphere.
From our inception as the “Shelby Metropolitan Housing Authority”, we have strived to put our residents at the forefront of our efforts. It is this dedication to our most important resource - people - that makes what we do so worthwhile and rewarding. We are proud to bridge the gap to affordable housing for families and individuals who need it. We also seek to maintain strong, working relationships with many of our community resources and institutions.
We believe that these Community Partnerships are very important in our functioning as a committed member of the greater community. Success continues, to be predicated on the dedication of our hard working staff and our residents who continued to embrace the commitment to change their lives.

Board Meetings are held on the 3rd Monday of the month, at 12:10 pm, at the Metropolitan Housing Authority office, at 706 N Wagner Ave, Sidney.
